so of course I am awake. Man my sleep schedule really gets screwed up when I'm not working. Hoo boy this Monday is going to be lit. I took a "nap" and apparently decided to play Russian Roulette because I left the candles burning. I almost never do that. Luckily the cats stay away from them so the apartment didn't burn down while I was asleep. I did have to trim the wicks though when I woke up because they were throwing black smoke and soot. There is no rain or snow at the moment. They were saying we were going to get a couple of inches of snow tonight but that has not been the case. Fine with me! You can keep your rain and snow. I'll crash back to bed eventually. For now I am catching up on the news and InternetLand. I'm happy to have today off for Martin Luther King Jr day.

I’m glad you get any day off from school. I know at some point I’d have a break down if I taught. Maybe not at a troublesome teen, but an obnoxious parent.

The parents are worse than the kids. You expect teens to act like idiots because they are teens. Adults should know better.

Lately cousin #2 has been having trouble sleeping and will call me at 4 am. That's fine because I'm always awake and then have someone to talk to. The weather is atrocious; and I hate it!!!

Don’t take naps, they are for babies and old people. I occasionally “rest my eyes” in the afternoon, but I’m allowed because I’m old. Today is just a normal Monday here in the UK. No additional days off for those who work until Easter. April this year

It's well after 2 am here and it is snowing... I'm really hoping we don't get much since I have a doctor appointment early tomorrow morning. (We're at 30F and looking for a low tonight of 17F by morning. We're supposed to get "flurries" tonight.) I definitely don't want to drive on snow first thing in the morning. Idiots won't remember how to drive on it and will be sliding all over the highway, into and back out of the ditches again. They always do. I hope you don't have any trouble getting back to sleep this morning.
