Some time ago, we bought two hibiscus plants to place in the front garden. I’ve seen a couple of buds on it recently and today two very pretty blooms have opened out. They’re not the biggest I’ve ever seen but I’ll take them.
There are buds on the other plant so now I’ll be waiting impatiently to see what colour the flowers will be. Of course, I could always check the ticket that’s floating around somewhere. That would have a photo of the flower.

It's a pretty flower. I'm sure the other plant will also have pretty flowers, whatever color they are.
I used to grow miniature hibiscus plants at our last house. I brought seeds from it with me but couldn't find them after we unpacked and I was ready to plant them. (Mine had purple and white striped flowers.)

They would have been very pretty. I don't think I've heard of miniature hibiscus plants before.

That's a lovely bloom and I can relate to the excitement that you would have seeing the first bloom. The other plant will have another gorgeous colour. I have this colour in my garden but in a bigger size.

I've seen some very big blooms from myLot gardeners. This is still quite a young plant. Perhaps it will have bigger flowers next year.

The hibiscus flower pleases the eye ! I like Hibiscus rosa-sinensis too,but it can't suffer a cold winter.

We have a small hibiscus garden behind our house. We are interested in collecting hibiscus of different colours. We have to protect them as some girls use them as haircare ingredient. Some years ago, a woman used to steal them because red hibiscus flowers are used in worship of the goddess Kali.
