Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 12 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. It is WAY too cold.
Speaking of cold it is freezing here at work. I know people think I’m exaggerating but I’m not. One of the classrooms is 47 and the other is 56. These HVAC units are like 5 years old and absolute trash. This is craziness.
I’m still showing a movie so that will make the day drag. This afternoon I have 2 hours of tutoring. I still need to clean up the candle wax disaster too.
What’s everyone else up to today?

Good morning. It is 30F here this morning. Our high is supposed to reach 46F by this afternoon. We're supposed to have a beautiful day here.
Pretty and I will be going shopping this afternoon in preparation for the extreme cold and snow this weekend. (We have a 90% chance of snow on Friday, same on Saturday with a high on those two days of 4F. You KNOW I won't be going outside until that crap melts off! I'm NOT looking forward to that. I will admit I love watching snow fall but, as soon as it stays on the ground, I'm not happy anymore.)
Hopefully, they'll do something about the cold in the classrooms. It's ridiculous to expect you or the students to study and learn or teach in those conditions.

I can relate snow fall is one of the most pleasant and pleasurable moments but when it lands on the ground, it's a different case. Stay safe and keep warm.

My day started well in the mornings it's freezing cold and during the day the sun burns. I had several activities with some am bond to finish tomorrow morning.

That really is cold for your classrooms.
We started out at minus 10, hit 12 when I was having my coffee and now it's at 20F. Still too cold for me
