What a faker!

I told my dad not to bother coming over in the aftermath of this mess, but of course, he didn’t listen. He drove over to watch the first half of the Broncos/Patriots game with me (American football). He said the roads were really plowed well. Not a lot of people (understandably) were out though. He’s supposed to have jury duty tomorrow, but they moved it to Tuesday (for now).
Why is he a faker? You remember the deal with Sadie? He comes in, sits down, she jumps in his lap, and he cuddles her in his lap. No way was he going to make her stay here if the power went out. She still can’t come over normally, but at least I know for sure he just talks a big game.
It’s up to a whopping 16 F (-9 C). Better than this morning! The snow will not me melting for many days.

It will be above freezing tomorrow during the day .only one of the next several..no plows here at least. Maybe other places. Tomorrow since it will be "warm" though. I will hike out and look at the road, and see if a Tuesday escape is possible .however, I am thinking more like Weds. Perhaps even gulp Thus .hope not

@AmbiePam The problem is not slot at of melting will occur and probably will have to do some shoveling. Not alot of snow UT probably hard to drive right out as well.

Oh, that's funny! I'm glad you won't worry about taking Sadie if the power goes out. 
The snow seems to have stopped now but I've heard a couple of vehicles slipping and sliding down the street here. We're at 12F this afternoon with a RealFeel of 0F.
Pretty and I are arguing about which one of us will put on clothes and go find the broom and shovel to work on the front porch... Neither one of us have actually started moving around, though. 
I know there's also ice melt out in the garage, too.
We will be warming up to mid-30s in a few days so the snow won't stick around for too long.

@AmbiePam When she went out to shovel the drive last time, she quit after half an hour and had curled the snow shovel up on both sides banging the shovel...

A lot of people won't admit that they like our furry babies. You know he wouldn't refuse you and Sadie. This s**w isn't going to melt for at least a week. It's so cold. Stay safe and warm.

The relationship you have with your dad makes my heart happy! I wish I had the same with my dad.
I am so glad tha tyou got to spend time with your dad even in the middle of the storm.
Clrarly I have missed some of your older posts and this insomnia is helping me catch up with you.
When you get on in the morning you're going to be sick of seeing my notifications lol.
Anyway. I am glad hes a faker when it comes to Sadie lol

Climate or weather may be good or bad to some. But the point is on how they adjust or adapt to it. Today we have a cool morning with a gloomy sky. Since today is Monday everyone especially workers are back to work and students to school.
