Almost Done

White crapping outside. It did drift some but not too bad. It does need to stop filling in my walking path. I can't get it packed down to make walking easy. Hopefully soon.
I have been nice to rooster the last 2 mornings and carried him to the carport. He gets to spend his day with the cats. He doesn't seem to mind that and doesn't have to hop through the snow.
Sprayed the door lock with WD-40 and it is working better again. This kind of cold is an extreme pain in the you know what.

It was good of you to hand deliver the rooster to hang out with the kitties.
WD-40 is good stuff, it definitely saves a lot of work for me at times. I hope you have a good day and stay warm.

We got about a third of what they were expecting, and everyone screaming bloody murder about the forecast being a “bust.” I don’t get it. Do these people who are griping realize what condition we’d be in if we HAD received 15” of sn*w????

He often goes out with them and checks if they left him any scraps when the snow isn't deeper than he is tall.

I have never had cats bother adult chickens. They learn very fast those wings hurt when they are flapping
