Returned to mylot two days ago after being hiatus for a very long time (has it been a year or more?). I was kind of disappointed how few people were making discussions and interacting.
But today (Wednesday the 28th in my zone), I was surprised to see that I have a lot of new discussions. Is it that time of the month when people are rushing to reach the minimum threshold?
I hope it's like this every single day in mylot. I love interacting, exchanging responses is just like chatting.
Oh how I miss all of you. Hope more mylot friends would come back to mylot.

Yeah I miss the days when mylot was busy every single day and at all times.
I used to remember when there were too many Philippine users here. We were the active ones during day time our time zone, and at night the western people. So mylot was awake 24 hours a day.

@JudyEv Yeah, it has changed a lot actually Mylot rules and the algorithm was totally different then. You get higher pay when you have a high rating. Payment was based on your status as a mylotte and members rate each other.

Our weekends here on mylot are very slow, and we once had a really active overnight bunch here, but most are gone, or maybe they just sleep during that time now! But I have noticed some returning. I am sometimes not hardly here and then I am again, depending on life's happenings. Glad you have returned!

I forgot how weekends can indeed be slow here. But when I was gone I would randomly check in just to see who's in here but didn't see a lot so I just left quietly.

@MarieCoyle That was a nice strategy. Some of the new members I saw before I went hiatus posted tons of discussions and never interacted. I think they thought that they'd earn from merely posting discussions just like other paying sites or apps. They never learned that we are paid by interaction here and not from mere posting. I guess they got frustrated from not earning that they quit.

To be honest, back when I first joined mylot I was very hesitant. I spent a some time reading posts and trying to get to know the place, the feel, and the people here. The first year or so, I rarely posted, just stopped by every once in a while and read. I think it helped me get to know some people that way.

Weekends are very very slow, but this snowstorm that swept over the country has muted a lot of people. However, this last year, several members just stopped visiting. It was sad, but they have started to slowly return. We just really need people to steadily check in. I’d hate to see this place be gone for good.

Same here. that's why it's such a relief to see old names here in mylot. I remember there were new members who started joining but didn't stay long. Guess they really didn't know how mylot works and they weren't patient enough.
Hope new members are active as well.
I will try to be active for as much as I can.

Glad to have you back. Yep, the month ends on Saturday, and everyone is trying to make the deadline. I have been making payout like every two months so I don't think I will make the minimum this month but hey, I keep trying.
