Before proceeding with more dances, I wanted to mention dirty dancing from the film of the same name. I am sure many of you enjoyed Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze dancing their way right into your hearts. I mean, the moves were spectacular, and the music made you really want to move. So to get into dirty dancing, you have to be really limber and just move with the beat. Imagine Swayze dirty dancing across the Milky Way.

@DianneN I have the video, and when I really need uplift I watch it. Jennifer Grey is talking a Dirty Dancing sequel and everyone is saying not without Swayze. Even his wife says Swayze thought the original was good as is and to leave it at that and would not do a sequel if he could.

@AmbiePam I would have loved being in a movie like that. I did a lot of hoofing in two musicals in my school.

I was only 7 or 8 years old then and wasn't allowed to watch Dirty Dancing. But I did watch the movie when I was already in my teens and I love it. I love Patrick Swayze. And I'll never forget the soundtrack "Time of My Life." In fact, when I saw the title of your discussion, heard the song in my head automatically.

I still watch that movie from time to time. It's a catcher for sure. That is one dance that I picked up on and learned to do. I can still do a little at a time but nothing like I used to.

That Patrick Swayze was some dancer, developing a love for ballet while in grade school. He pursued a dance career in ballet later in life, which certainly became useful for this role in Dirty Dancing. He definitely was graceful dancing in that movie!
