Last day of an awful month. I have decided against an Instacart order. It is just cold and ugly out and will probably get windier as the day goes on. We are being affected by the Norteaster off the cost, but only getting the wind from it, any flakes are few an far between. However, if I had Instacart, I would have to clear the rest of the steps and I don't want to go out there and do it. Besides they might refuse to do the delivery as it is so icy near the house. Plus I don't want anyone breaking their leg or anything. I am sad about being low on fruit, but I still have two apples and a banana and some fruit cocktail. Coffee is holding up Thank God. Wine will be rationed. If the forecast is right..I shouldn't have too much of an issue going out Monday afternoon. How are things in your world?

We’re close to halfway to Tulsa, and my dad and Diana are sweating me out. They are cold, but you know me, I’m certainly not with that heat on high.
I’m sorry you don’t think it’s wise to get an InstaCart order, but I sure am glad you stocked up before this hit.

I just don't want to fool with it..I'll survive until Monday for certain. My big thing is I just want to go somewhere! Oh well if you stay in the car while they are at the party..I am sure it will cool off.

@snowy22315 Yeah, we just got here. We’ve taken my sister to lunch, and gone back to her house, and now is the party. I’m in the sun with the heat off, so it’s really the perfect temperature.

This hasn’t been the best start of a new year for us, either. That fruit will have to suffice. Better to be safe than sorry with that weather.
It’s going to be 63 degrees today, but going down to would you believe 15 degrees tonight. Tomorrow, the high will be 49 and low 32. Brrrrr

@DianneN One thing that blows my mind is as freaking cold as it has been, in the 40's they had temps here well below zero. That must have been so awful..I am sure some people then only had fireplaces or other unreliable heat sources like Kerosene or something.Not everybody would have had a furnace I don't think.

@wolfgirl569 Time will tell. There is at least a quarter of tank of gas in there too..so shouldn't be any fuel line freeze up. Something we have never had to worry about here before.

Monday should be OK to go out and Tuesday even better. Hopefully a lot of the snow will melt then.

Does sound a bit tricky for someone to deliver to you between the icy steps and the wind. Sorry you're getting that Nor'easter. Certainly don't need any more bad weather.
I got up this morning to minus degrees so it's bitterly cold here and we won't get the wind of that storm until tomorrow. Thankfully no snow but still the wind is more than enough to have to deal with. I can't wait for this winter to be over and fingers crossed we have a really nice spring.

I am glad you have enough to eat to get by for a bit. I hope the wind isn't too terrible. It's still bitter cold here, too.
