Do you notice where the sun rises and sets as the seasons change?

As the sun rises further to the North each day, its tendency to blind me at my computer in the early mornings changes (my apartment faces East). Right now is at the stage where is almost beyond blinding me. Within a week, I will not have to close my curtains when I check my email and MyLot in the early mornings.
My photo of the sun setting over the middle of the Golden Gate Bridge (I'll try to attach it) was taken on December 27th or 28th a few years ago. By that time of year, the sun is setting a bit further to the North (right in the photo) each day. So December 14 (a week before the solstice) and December 28 (a week after) should be the best day to take such a photo from that spot on the Nimitz Trail (in Tilden Park).
Do you notice the sun's rising and setting points as the year progresses? I also notice it because different East-West roads become difficult to drive (in the mornings and evenings) at different times of the year.

No, I don't... We have blackout curtains covering our windows but the trees in our back yard block the sun when it's rising and the houses across the street block the sun when it's setting.

@TheHorse No light is supposed to come through, I love them, but makes you want to sleep all day.

@crossbones27 Couldn't they make your house dark and dreary if you actually used them?

In the sky, same as winter.
Yes. It’s particularly cool watching on beach cameras when the sun sets right on the ocean at the right time of the year.

To a certain extent late winter and spring the sun that comes in the windows off the deck in the afternoon is blinding.

@wolfgirl569 Ah, so it does not shine directly into your house?

@TheHorse I have had so many trees cut down just to provide sunlight for my veggie garden and flower garden. Sometimes I have too much sun or too little. I certainly don’t want all my trees gone. The squirrels dig up my daffodil bulbs and plant them in the woods. The deer eat my tulips. Can’t win

Only when its in my face.
I do notice the sun is so bright in summer compared to winter. Its freaking bright here in the summer. I also know in winter the sun hits every freaking window of the house and blinds you.

This time of year the sun blinds me around 3-3:30pm every afternoon. I have to close my blinds which is a pain because I do love the sun.

The sun rises in the east and sets in the west everywhere on Earth, but in the Northern Hemisphere, it moves across the southern sky, while in the Southern Hemisphere, it moves across the northern sky.

But I do love your picture!
