I'm already in February, folks:) / myLot

It's postmidnight. Finally some shorter month cause, 31 days of January was too much for me. I endured it but, still, it wasn't easy. I have my name day on Valentine's Day and birthday 2 weeks later but not sure i'm celebrating them still, it's good. I also accepted the job last week and it will only last until February 28 or shorter. Whenever i'm a substitute for a teacher, this person shows up earlier than expected so, nothing is safe. I needed money and it's not the great environment but i'll try to enjoy as much as i could. I also reconnected to one person from my family and she visited me but, small steps, my friends. Do you sometimes feel you lived for too long? I do, sometimes and had a deja vu recently. But, I'm Pisces so, it's hard to say sometimes

I'm glad you accepted the job and hope something more comes of it. You always have "family" here on myLot.

I hope things go well with your family member. Just take things slowly and don't get your hopes up too much.

@valherma00 Kids, no matter what age/grade don't respect substitute teachers. You should have learned that by now. As for your family member, you can always ignore them. That's what Pretty and I do. We act like they don't exist and ignore/block their phone calls and don't open the door for them if they try to come over. I haven't talked to some of my family since I was a teenager and mom let them in the house. (Mom wouldn't let me ignore them even if I went into my bedroom when they showed up. Here, in my own home, I don't have to let anyone in or answer their calls. I'm an adult and can't be forced anymore.)

Thank you so much.mylot feels close to my heart.well,things ended the same with this family member,not good cause,i still feel pain about a lot of things and she doesn't want to talk about them and once again,i feel a lot of negativity,which i don't need.we are not meant to be and i'm better alone. Well,yes,i shouldn't have those great expectations or hope.i also can't wait to end this job cause,3rd graders don't respect me as a substitute and every day is a fight.and you can't do anything to them.

@DaddyEvil that's true, i had a feeling with 2 last jobs yet, i worked with 1st graders so i thought this grade would be easier but, it proved wrong. thanks for enlighting that

i am taking a break with this person. it was good talking to her but i don't like when she's intruding my privacy and only reminding me of times when i was alone, without anyone's support, even though people were next to me. you are right, in your own home, it's your rules and sorry you went through that
