Tomorrow is the start of February. It’s Black History Month. This is the 100th anniversary of Black History Month, so I thought I’d celebrate with a list of great African-American musicians.
Unlike other countdowns, this one is strictly alphabetical. This was a hard enough list to narrow down to 28, never mind trying to pick a top ten out of the list!

Interesting countdown. I was never a big fan of Prince, and my biggest recollection of him is when he was having a fling with Sheena Easton. I was so jealous!

Hey! I recognize Prince and remember Purple Rain! It was/is a good song! A lot of my friends played it over and over and over again!

My absolute one of.my heroes
I do a version of Purple Rain every time we have an party, which is often, in the back garden, backing track, big speakers
And the neighbours love it
Even their dogs bark along to my singing.
It's a 7 minutes version of Purple Rain Perfection
One night I got as far as

And someone shouted shut the """" up then lol

I saw Prince in concert back in the mid 1980s. It was his Purple Rain Concert. I went with one of my gal pals.
