46 days until spring. Will these brutal temperatures ever end? It's Groundhog Day today (2/2); but regardless of what the groundhog says, word is that these cold temperatures are going to hang around for a while.
Yesterday 2/1 was cousin #2's Birthday; but she was sick. She won't be coming over until tomorrow.
I invited cousin #3 and her family over for pizza next week. She jumped on it. She had time for that. Actually, her company has cut out overtime since they are caught up.
Breakfast - Granola bar
Lunch - PB&J sandwich, veggie straws, yogurt
Dessert/Snack - Nature's Bakery Brownie
Dinner - Frozen MOW meal - Pork loin, cheesy potatoes, mixed veggies, roll, peaches

7 AM: groundhog sees his shadow.
7 PM: groundhog steaks served for dinner. 
I had the usual for lunch and some grilled cheese and tomato soup for dinner. Yogurt and fiber bar and applesauce!

I made some home made 3 ingredient peanut butter cookies they were yummy. I also had fish sticks veggies and fries. I am with you on the weather.

@snowy22315 I really load up and have enough for 2 meals -- 2 orders of clam strips, an order of bay scallops (the little sweet ones), mashed potatoes, hush puppies, and Brussels sprouts. And Cheddar Bay Biscuits of course.

@1creekgirl I'm sorry to hear about your back. I'm glad Dale is feeling better..
I'm lonely and miss my hubby; but I'm hanging in there. There are some days that I can hardly make it to the bathroom and kitchen. That concerns me.

I forgot that holiday was today....hope it's a good outcome? We never believe it here.
Isn't it 6 more week of winter anyway? Or does that mean it'll be 12 instead of the 6?

I am SO glad you invited them for pizza. That's wonderful, you will have an evening of company. I am also glad to hear her overtime has been chopped, because now she will hopefully have more time for you. I hope cousin #2 feels better and has nothing catching!

Hopefully cousin #3 can come over on a Saturday for a couple of hours if her husband isn't working. Cousin #2 feels much better and will be coming over today.

Sadly we're stuck with more winter weather as we continue to countdown to spring. At least we have sun here today and maybe it will melt some of that white stuff,

Yes, this weather isn't going to break for some time. The coldest winter I remember was 1995 or so when it was 20 below zero.
