Isn't your feet part of your body?

This guy asked if lotion is applied on the feet too. He bought this body lotion and never applied it on his feet and now complaining that his feet are dry.
From the time I started to dress up on my own and applying lotion, I have always included my feet. But there are times when the body lotion isn't enough, I would use petroleum jelly at night and then socks for. a softer feet the following day.
When using a body lotion, do you include your feet?

@toniganzon That's what my podiatrist has been telling me.

@toniganzon - I agree, they are an important part of our body. The heels get dry they need a lot of care.

@toniganzon - I always wanted to have clean and pretty feet. I scrub my heels every day and apply a cream to keep them hydrated and good smelling.

@toniganzon Very true. As far as I can tell, the main difference in the different lotions are the thickness of the lotion and how quickly it absorbs into the skin. Since feet have thicker skin and take more of a beating than your body or hands, the lotion is much thicker and is slower to absorb into your feet.

@DaddyEvil Right. But when you live in my country, we don't like thicker lotions because they're too sticky. This is a tropical and very humid country. Your's is too cold and thus your skin gets drier than us. In fact, body serum is a thing here because our skin easily absorbs them and moisturizes our skin better than lotion but it doesn't give the thick and heavy feeling that the normal lotion gives.
And the guy's reason for not putting lotion on his feet is he finds the lotion sticky.

yes Toni ofcourse.yes I always include the feet. In fact if the feet is clean the germs hardly enter the body. Because diseases begin from the bottom and go the upper part of the body

I use body lotion for my feet too. When it's too dry in cold weather, I will use petroleum jelly overnight and put on socks the way you do. There are many foot lotion in the market but I have not tried any.

Same, I haven't tried the foot lotion in the market coz I don't think I needed to buy a separate one as it's still lotion anyway.

@arunima25 AS long as they do and they work for you perfectly, there's no need to do so.

@toniganzon I keep my body care routine to minimal to avoid cost and extra effort. Also, too lazy to try things
. So far, things are working and I am happy about that.

I think it’s only women who use body lotion. I’ve never used it. I don’t like feet, so one of the first things I do in the morning, after showering, is put my socks on. Then I can forget about my feet for the rest of the day.

No. I have used a special foot lotion once, but I didn't like how it felt on my feet so I stopped using it. I might have use petroleum jelly on my feet. I get calluses really bad on my feet.

A foot spa can be really relaxing. I love it when I get a foot massage from a therapist after a good scrub.
