I have the worst luck! At least of the past 3 months. It has been horrible, except for yesterday and the day I won 20.00 playing a scratch off ticket. I felt just like Looeyville. Anyway, my favorite charging cord broke!!
. That is not the worst of it, a piece is stuck in the port of my phone. I have been trying to use various implements to remove it with no luck. I am going out today so I will go to the Verizon store and see if they can get it out. I do not want to have to buy a new phone. I was thinking I would go to Richmond tomorrow. I might be able to find a cellphone repair place that has better tools. However, I am not going to pay to have it repaired. This phone was only about 100 dollars in the first place. I am not going to pay big bucks to have it fixed. I am hoping it is something they can do right over the counter. Verizon for sure if they can fix it will do it for free.

@snowy22315 - Yes those should help, or those pliers that came with very old computers to remove the components.

I hope that the phone issue has been resolved now
These things are a pain when they go wrong.

That's good news indeed.
Very good news.
Excellent , I am running out of superlatives to use
Yvonne thought superlatives were fast acting cenna pods
She said " you better not fail to teach the toilet"

That happened this last summer to my oldest son. He stopped by the AT&T place and they put a new plug in port in his phone. That's where his phone plan is, so that makes sense. His phone was only a few months old at the time.
I wouldn't pay big bucks to fix it if it's an older phone and you don't have much money tied up in it, either. But I hope Verizon can fix it for you.

It's not older..but I don't want to pay more to fix it than the phone cost. I am hoping they can just remove the part and it will work with another charger.

Good luck with Verizon. I would think they would be able to help get that piece out of your phone.

I hope that Verizon may be of some help, it's possible they have a tool to remove the broken cord.
