One is the Loneliest Number
My husband was a few years younger than Chuck Negron. Chuck played basketball at my husband’s high school in the Bronx, NY, so that’s how he knew of him.
Chuck Negron was the founding member and lead singer of Three Dog Night which had so many hits as One, Old Fashioned Love Song, and Joy to the World.
Hubs has most of his albums. For his birthday this past December, our younger son bought him Three Dog Nightmare - The Chuck Negron Story, written by Chuck. My son contacted him, explained how my hubs knew him, and begged him to autograph it.
I’m going to read it now.
Chuck passed away yesterday from complications of coronary heart disease and COPD. May he RIP

I dop remember the hit songs from Three Dog Night. My late mom enjoyed the hit song "Black And White". I enjoyed "Joy To The World." I will miss Chuck Negron beyond words.
