As I was rummaging through my stuff, sorting things that need to be thrown away and things that must be kept, I found my FUJI Instax Mini LiPlay I bought in 2019. For some reason I kept it in my office desk drawer and never used it at all during the pandemic. Bought it at almost $200 I think. Loved printing my photo for journaling with it. Went ahead to charge it crossing my fingers it's still working. After several hours of deep charging, I turned it on and voila! Even photos I took with that camera is still there. Unfortunately, the films were already expired. I totally forgot that I still had a film inserted and there were about 6 out of 10 left.

Very nice! We bought some of the disposable cameras before we got cellphones with a camera on it and took lots of photos but never sent the cameras in to be developed. I sent a couple of them in two or three years ago but the film was too old to develop anymore. *shrug* I'm glad yours still works.

Oh yes, I was so happy that this instant camera still works. Now I have to figure out how to update the firmware.

@DaddyEvil NOpe not possible. I'm using a MacBook with no port for that. I already checked the online manual.

@toniganzon You should be able to plug it into your laptop and let it update itself.

OH yes. I can get the film everywhere and anywhere in the world. Fuji film Instax camera is very popular. It's like Polaroid but the film size is a pocket size one which is very popular among young people from when I was a kid and still famous among young people in this generation.

It's an instant camera. The films have expiration date stamped on the box. Like a polaroid camera.

OH yes. I love this hybrid camera because unlike my previous mini instxx that prints right after you take a photo, this one saves the photo in the sd card for printing later and you can even print from your phone. That's why I got rid of my previous instax camera and changed it into minil liplay.

@toniganzon - This one is much better, I also like to have the photo saved in a sd card.

@JudyEv Yes. My son was helping me as we went though my stuff in my desk and he saw an envelope and gave it to me. It was from you.

Right, the best part is it still works! Coz I read that those who haven't used their mini liplay for a year actually wasn't able to get it running. Fortunately mine still does and my $200 wasn't wasted.

Yes it is like a polaroid. Smaller films though. However, it's digital and I can print from my phone as well using this camera. I had the other Fuji Instax camera that prints photo instantly but I gave it to my niece when I got this Mini LiPlay because of its many functions. I get to enjoy the feature of a Polaroid and a digital camera in one.
