It's Friday (and nothings new)

Happy Friday Everyone! here's my daily complaint about the weather
it's COLD with flurries later this afternoon or tonight.
Amazon delivered my new tablet yesterday so I'm excited. Now I'll have one for upstairs and won't have to carry my older one up and down the stairs.
I've really been enjoying my cozy little reading/tv corner in my bedroom and instead of staying up to watch the news and a late night talk show downstairs now I go up earlier and watch it in my room.
My daughter suggested doing this many times but I always just kept putting it off. Now I wish I had listened to her ages ago.
Sometimes I think she's the mom
Anyway, nothing planned for today or the weekend. I'm not interested in football so I doubt I'll be watching the Super Bowl but will probably tune in for the halftime show.
We're having an easy dinner tonight....chicken tenders, sweet potato fries and some sort of veggie.
How's your Friday going? Anything exciting planned for the weekend?

You’re going to miss out on all the funny commercials! 
I am hoping we get a good game. I’m a big football fan. The only thing I know about the halftime show, Bad Bunny, is that he sings in Spanish. I’m not sure I’ve ever heard one of his songs.

I never knew much about Bad Bunny until all the controversy with him doing the halftime show. Even though I don't really understand Spanish I like their music. I've been a big fan of Ricky Martin for ages and he sings in Spanish a lot. And can't count out Pitbull. Might come as a surprise since I'm basically a country music fan

I hear 'ya when it comes to complaining about the cold. It's never going to end.
Your dinner sounds yummy. All my favorites.
I watched the Opening Ceremony for the Olympics and will probably watch some events this weekend.

Our 'boys' seem to be taking over the role of parenting too! They keep giving us advice and checking on what we're doing! lol
