We Got Eggs

I am sure that the hens are not laying eggs because of the cold.

Yeah, eggs are in short supply again because of the more virulent bird flu epidemic happening right now. Walmart here hasn't had any for sale in several weeks and said they can't get any... I have six eggs left in the fridge and would like to buy more before I use those last eggs. I'm exhausted and slept from 2 pm until 9 pm when Pretty woke me up... I may go back to sleep when I finish catching up on myLot this evening. The pot roast she made in the crockpot is delicious! (I did the dishes before we left for the ER this morning and had another bowl when I woke up at 9 pm.) Have a good evening/night.

I don’t remember the last time I bought eggs. Although, they do sound good.

My daughter called earlier and we were talking about her grocery run today. They went to two different stores for eggs as the first store was out. The second store had eggs but of course they were the pricier ones, not just basic eggs. I wonder what’s up?

my day went pretty good, went got my meds at the pharmacy & took a 5 hr nap & just getting up so I'll be up for a while.

As good as it could be stuck in the driveway again. I could have shoveled out, but it really was awfully slippery out there and my instinct was warning against it. Then it started snow.

That is good that you got some eggs. There are some tthings in our stores that they are real low on.

Thanks to my relatives getting me some cold medicine for me to use and as well as themselves, we are hoping to make a full recovery from our head colds.

I'm lucky enough to have several friends who have chickens, so that's usually where I get my eggs. I need to get some more this weekend. They are way cheaper too. It's $4-6 for eggs at Walmart. It's $2.50 a dozen to get the farm fresh butt nuggets.
