Zero Sugar Drinks

So I have been drinking some Gatorade this week to try to recover a little faster from being sick (water has been inhaled too). I was thinking of trying the Gatorade Zero, the version with no sugar. But it seems every drink I’ve ever had tastes disgusting when I go to the zero sugar version. Coke Zero? Gross. And what exactly is replacing the sugar? Is that all that good for me?
So what sugar free versions of drinks are actually good, in your opinion?

I actually love the Gatorade and Powerade Zero, and I usually hate zero sugar drinks. I also get the little packets to put in water bottles with different flavors and always get the zero sugar ones.
I am drinking Mtn Dew right now, which is the opposite of zero sugar.

Coke zero is the worst soft drink I have ever tastes. Best sugar free drinks are lemon and lime.

I’m so used to them that I don’t notice the “diet” taste anymore.

I absolutely LOVE Diet Dr Pepper. I get tired of other kinds of drinks (even Diet Coke, which I really liked), but Diet Dr Pepper has remained a big fave. I think it's pretty popular in general.

None of them... I still buy the regular soda but only drink a couple of them every month. (I like Sprite when I'm not feeling well and will drink Mountain Dew once in a while, too.)
Pretty always has a sugar-free soda in her hands and brings me the cans after she rinses them out for me to crush... Eventually, we will need to take all the trash bags of crushed cans in the garage to the recycling center on the other side of town and turn them in.

I think Diet Dr. Pepper isn't too bad. You are right about diet coke, yuck!

I'm no expert on this. When my tummy is nuts, I usually drink water, hot tea, or if it's really bad I get out a Sprite. We don't keep sodas except for a Sprite or two for upset tummies. I do drink one sugar free drink sometimes that I am sure isn't good for me--Wyler's peach tea packets. But it's not in excess, and it tastes so, so good. I love peach tea.

I had to go to no-sugar drinks like asap, cause of where my
health issues put me after I got out of the hosp, & I went from
sodas straight to ICE sparkle & Gatorade Zero, & to minute made
O-sugar, Just to give me plenty of different flavors to drink.
Being I was so addicted to sodas Like I was I found
that switching to no sugar drinks wasn't easy, but
once I got a taste of ICE sparkle it had the taste I like.
But theres another drink that's got the same taste &
cheaper & that is "clear American" sparkling water

I've seen posts in FB and Tiktok in which people with diabetes drink Coke Zero to check if it will spike their blood sugar. It did not. I don't really like the taste too of Coke Zero but I guess its better than drinking the original flavor.

I totally agree with you, George!
