My hibiscus has redeemed itself

I wrote a while back that a bud had fallen off one of my hibiscuses. Since then, it has had a flower which you can see in the photo. The fallen bud is still on the ground in the background. Isn’t it pretty? The other shrub has three buds which will be out in a day or two. I didn’t expect the shrub to have another. We’ve had more hot weather but this time the bud has survived.

Very nice! Have you been giving it more water or did you give it shade? (Doing both those things can help them flower in extreme heat.)

It's probably had a bit more water than usual but I haven't given them any shade.

They're all beautiful but do you prefer the single or double blooms?

Your hibiscus looks very healthy. I imagine the temperature is less hot, so now you have three more buds. Beautiful!

I didn't expect any more flowers so I'm pleased to see the plants producing more flowers and buds.

@JudyEv Yes it will. But I haven't seen that same flower in our area yet. Only some with almost the same shape and form with that in the picture.

The colour of the hibiscus is beautiful. I have the red five petals and the dark pink with many petals. They have stopped flowering because of the chill.

That's pretty. I have an indoor plant that has been dying. Too close to the cold window I tink..but am hoping it may revive in the spring.

I put in quite a lot of potting soil as the original dirt had a lot of building rubble in it.

I cropped the photo. It's not a pot but an edging affair. You can see them here before the shrubs were planted.
