He Never Plays

I think Duke doberman was trying to cheer us up this morning. He did and I think cheered himself up too. I know he also made Patch border collie happy. She managed to get the ball and then was playing keep away with him. She was not interested in that ball since I got it at Christmas until she seen Duke playing with it.
I didn't do very much today but did get my steps in. I also was thinking about some of the things I hope they have at the auction. Some brownies would be nice. Swiss rolls are good too. Maybe some slipper socks. Mine are wearing out and that's where I got the last ones. I want some cheap flip flops also. That would be a nice way to get some.

I bet it was fun watching your two dogs both play with the ball. Duke must of been feeling pretty young about things this morning.
I have been stuck in a hospital room but I was able to get some things done on the computer instead of sleeping all day.

It was fun. I sometimes think he is going into a second childhood. He is 13 now.

I'm glad Duke was able to cheer everybody up today. 
I wasn't feeling well so Pretty asked my brother to take her shopping this afternoon. She found some new pots and pans that look good. I hope we like them. (They're T-Fal brand which we've never had before. The last pots and pans I bought were Calphalon and lasted 30 years.)

@wolfgirl569 I washed and dried all of them during the night and, as soon as I woke up this morning, started making beanie weenies in one of the new pots. It turned out really good!

Animals can be just like human children. They will ignore a toy forever until another child wants it, then suddenly they think they must have it. Maybe Duke really was trying to cheer you up, and all the other critters, too.
I hope you have a good auction day tomorrow. Before long you will be back to going every week!
