I work with so many kids throughout the building that I have a lot of valentines to do.
So I do not plan to be here much this evening.
I ordered mechanical pencils, and scented regular pencils for the kids, depending on their age. I will do a variety of other things for the classes as well.
Time to get into the spirit of things. I had rather go to bed.

It was a pretty good day. The first grade students do Discovery Friday and did some cool Valentine experiments and had stories and art.

The kids have parties at school. They make personalized Valentine's boxes.They bring little cards for their class mates. This is a great excuse for everyone to eat too much candy.

It was fun. For some reason one of the fifth grade girls made a "dress" for her pencil out of tissue paper.

@DianneN The fifth graders, at least some of them, remembered to thank me later, as I just had their teachers pass the pencils out. I do see a lot of them using them, though.
