And it’s a bouncing baby girl named Linh Mai, which in Vietnamese means “spirit blossom.” This female Asian elephant calf was the first to be born at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute in Washington, DC, in almost a quarter of a century. Both parents are happy to welcome their healthy and bright-eyed daughter.

You know how they say you do not mess with some people because they just so damn cool. Elephants fall into that category for the animal kingdom. You basically destroying yourself if you destroy a elephant.

She's a beautiful baby! I've watched videos of people playing with baby elephants before. It looks like fun.
