The sun is still up

It is after 5 p.m. and we still have sunshine. I had best hurry and take the garbage out, tomorrow is trash day.
After church today hubby and I went to Wichita to find the location of tomorrow's appointment. And a shorter way to get there.
We had leftover pizza, and took naps. I only took a half hour, and that was plenty.
With an extra day off I am getting some things done up.
I need to ladle my easy apple butter into a couple of jars. Cook up some more things that need to be cooked or tossed. As I said, trash needs to be taken out.
It is a lovely, sunny, peaceful afternoon.

Aren't the longer days just the best? And this week it's above freezing; and the s**w and ice is melting. I'm glad you had a good day.

It looked pretty outside but I didn't go out to see how nice it was. My eyes are swollen mostly closed this afternoon. *shrug* We didn't get to go to Walmart and buy cheap candy today, either.
