Here Are Our Six Coffee Machines
I know, it's a lot of Coffee Machines for 2 people in a one bedroom apartment
But it is what it is
So looking from left to right
De Longhi Nespresso
I bought this one because I had over 100 pods which didn't work with the other Nespresso Machine we have. It's like new, and I paid £10 for it from a charity shop. When it was new it cost £379.
L,Or Barista
Our original Nespresso Machine.
Sadly it does not accept all Nespresso pods lol.
Saw this on Gumtree with 100 pods for it and only paid £30. Had it 3 years now. These still cost about £70 brand new.
Nescafé Dolce Gusto White
This is Yvonne's machine.
She likes the Mocha Capsules which only fit in a Dolce Gusto so We had to buy this. We had a coffee at a friend's house and Yvonne was impressed with it and the Mocha
Nescafé Dolce Gusto Black
This is the latest addition to the household. I saw it in the charity shop last week for £4. How could I resist?
Prestige Vintage 50669- C filter machine with timer
I saw this and remembered I had 4kg of Ground Coffee in the house so I bought it. Same charity shop and it set me back £4. A must have
And finally Ambiano Coffee on the Go Machine.
Travelled 35 mikes to get this one a couple of years ago. It's a filter machine and it makes really hot coffee and the insulated cup is awesome. Even the top is good and it does not leak at all. I haven't used it that much because of the vast choice I have , and also Yvonne does not like filter coffee.
I am now looking for an Electric Coffee Percolator, preferably from the 70,s.
Oh wait, I have a stove top Percolator as well but it's not the best as the water boils so quickly it doesn't brew slowly,
So there you have it
Have you got a coffee machine?
Would you like to tell us all about it.
A photo perhaps?

6 coffee machines in a one bedroom! I used to have two but am down to one. Friend tried to get me interested in using a Keurig, but I found it highly impractical and expensive as well.

They are in the kitchen lol
Yvonne said no to a machine in the bedroom
I can't help myself, I see one, I buy it
I took the last one home
Asked Yvonne to close her eyes and hold out her hands
When I put it in her hand her face was a picture,

We have a dolce gusto at home and at the caravan. We have various cafetières …..and I’m pretty certain my Mom will still have the percolator from the 70’s…..i love coffee.

@Ineeddentures I loved it ……obviously I was only a child, but even then I knew it made a damn fine cup of coffee.

It was the noise it made I liked.
And the steam coming out the spout

I would buy the 70,s percolator.
Best, most pure coffee ever from those thongs
Why they went out of fashion I will never know

@Ineeddentures - I think I also have a Moka, it's a long time I do not use it. I should coffee made in a Moka is so much better than drip coffee.

Stove top Espresso Maker, is that like a percolator?

We have only one. It's a Keurig. It's sage green. My mother uses it. I had used it a few times to make tea, but I don't do that anymore. My mother drinks coffee, but recently she hasn't been drinking it.

Oh that's not good.
How did she hurt her leg?
I wouldn't like anything to taste bad with coffee so I probably wouldn't take it lol

Only one is probably a really good idea Jessica.

That’s too many coffee machines.
I have Breville Barista. I haven’t used it in many years. For some reason it stopped extracting coffee well so Lenny and I stopped using it. At one point we thought of getting it fixed and when he called someone he was told we have to be on a waiting list for four months or something like that so we never went through with it. Now I was just standing on the kitchen counter, taking up unnecessary space. I should probably throw it out, but I don’t even know if garbage will collect it. I now drink tasters choice instant coffee. It’s actually pretty good.

Double the bag up
Maybe use three
Wrap it up on two, put some old clothes in it
Then put the whole lot in another bag

We have a drip coffee maker, and I also have a Melitta filter that I can make "pour over" coffee with. I find it to be more mellow than drip. Someone gave me a bunch of Keurig pods, and I may buy one at a thrift shop or just give the pods to my sister in law.

I quite like the Melitta Filter, I'm sure we must have one somewhere unless it got ditched when we moved to this town 10 years ago
Thrift shops are places I should not visit according to my wife

2 sounds sensible
I wish I only had two
If the charity shop has more and I go on for something else I will buy another one
I just know it

Oh my goodness that's crazy, how do you have space for anything else? I know I can't resist a bargain (and the £4 ones only cost about the same as buying a single cup of barista coffee LOL) but still, sometimes you have to say 'enough!'.
Surely when you've used up all of one type of pods you could sell that machine again on Gumtree or something?

Well let's see lol
The Cafe Renee Intensiva Pods I like will only fit the DeLonghi but I must admit I could turn a big profit on it now as a pal asked if I was selling it as his bean to cup broke
The Mocha only go on the Dolce Gustos so they will both stay
I could maybe part with the Ambiano single cup machine
The L,Or is going nowhere, it's a really good bit of kit
And the Prestige was bought with a view to resale, but because it's really good it won't be sold as I do have 4kg of Ground Coffee
I don't have to sell anything though,
The money wouldn't make any difference at all.
Wait till I do my blue tooth speakers post!!!

I've never seen anyone with 6 coffee machines. I have one in the pantry somewhere. Hubs never wanted to use it; so he made me instant decaf coffee.
