Of course those of you on myLot say, Yeah, well what else is new? I had no less than 4 tote bags to today to take into the stores while I was shopping today. I thought I was being clever for being so prepared. Do you think I remembered to take in any of them..? A couple of times I was worried about a missing card, a couple of times I was making a list of what I wanted. One time, wasn't sure was the best place to turn..etc. etc. I was distracted as per usual. I didn't use any of the bags until I was carrying things in when I got here. I could go on.

If I am trying to do too much at once..sometimes even remembering two or more things at once that will happen.

@snowy22315 - I keep the ID in the same wallet, I got the wrong card, but I did not understand why it did not work to pay.

When I am going to the grocery, Aldi, wherever. I do remember the bags. I keep the bags in the car always. Two are insulated bags that I can put cold groceries in. If I know I am going shopping for food, I put the bags next to my purse and then I don't forget them. Otherwise I would probably get distracted and forget. Sometimes, it's easy to be distracted, for sure.

The thing that bugs me was they were right there next to me! It wasn't like they were in another part of the car or something. How could that not trigger the thought to take them in? Obviously, I was pre occupied by thoughts of a misplaced debit card which I found in a jacket pocket when I got home. I never put it there. but anyway, bags forgotten.
