Housing Back ......Or Are They?

I wish they'd make up their minds. I thought we were through with them. Then they came and did some stuff and said they would be back the next day to finish. They never came. That was about a week ago. Then Tuesday we get a memo saying they would come between 8a. and 5p. on Thursday. They never showed. I know they get busy on different projects, but WHY CAN'T THEY LEAVE US ALONE FOR AWHILE? We set here and wait and they don't show.
It's not that big a deal really. And it is nice that we get these things fixed. I just like to alone and not have them in and out. Scaring the cats and tracking in dirt.
Aren't I awful?

No, you’re not awful at all. I feel the exact same way as you do. It’s so frustrating!
When they do show up, some are thoughtful enough to put on white booties over their shoes. If not, I tell them to leave their shoes outside the door. That way, they use their socks to clean my floors unknowingly

Haha. That's a good one. The other day one of the maintenance guys had gotten down on the floor to do something and got dust all over the floor in that area. I said, "Look what you've done to my floor!" He went and got a damp towel and cleaned right up. Even apologized. I was pleased.

With visits and appointments hanging over your head you never completely relax. I do not think it is awful to feel that way.

They need to show up when they say they will. Nothing irritates me more than people not showing up when they're supposed to.

No such thing here. I can understand if the other places take longer but still it is frustrating to have them never show.
