Housing Back ......Or Are They? / myLot

I wish they'd make up their minds. I thought we were through with them. Then they came and did some stuff and said they would be back the next day to finish. They never came. That was about a week ago. Then Tuesday we get a memo saying they would come between 8a. and 5p. on Thursday. They never showed. I know they get busy on different projects, but WHY CAN'T THEY LEAVE US ALONE FOR AWHILE? We set here and wait and they don't show. It's not that big a deal really. And it is nice that we get these things fixed. I just like to alone and not have them in and out. Scaring the cats and tracking in dirt. Aren't I awful?

No, you’re not awful at all. I feel the exact same way as you do. It’s so frustrating! When they do show up, some are thoughtful enough to put on white booties over their shoes. If not, I tell them to leave their shoes outside the door. That way, they use their socks to clean my floors unknowingly

Haha. That's a good one. The other day one of the maintenance guys had gotten down on the floor to do something and got dust all over the floor in that area. I said, "Look what you've done to my floor!" He went and got a damp towel and cleaned right up. Even apologized. I was pleased.
