Today is my trip up North. It should be a decent day. I am bringing son my instant pot to work on. I haven't been able to get this thing to work properly since I've had it, but he is good with both mechanics and tech. He doesn't have the tools to fix everything, but as long as it isn't something that takes a lot of equipment he is good with it Do you have a handy person in your family?

@snowy22315 - There is only one thing I do not touch, electricity, it's even forbidden, you need to call someone qualified.

@LadyDuck I have an overhead microwave that needs fixed. One of these days I will have to call an appliance repair person for that.

It's just me now. Hubby was never handy. Cousin #3's husband is pretty handy and has done a couple of things for me.

I wish I was handy. Whenever I try to assemble or fix something something is always amiss, or maybe I should say a mess.

I do have a few such people. My oldest son can build pretty much anything, remodel, etc. My son here with me can fix almost anything to do with computers, tablets, you name it, if it's got anything to do with the internet he can fix it if it can be fixed. He's good with cars, too. And to give myself a tiny bit of credit, I have learned over the years to fix more things than I ever thought I could. I hope your son can get it going right for you.

He made progress with it, but there seems to be a problem with the float valve. I left it up there, I think he or friend may see if they can get it replaced.

I hope you have a good day, so glad your son can help with some things. My daughter who's 17 is very handy actually. She has put together dressers, a raised dog bed, and other things I have needed help with! =)
