Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 29 degrees F, dark, and snowing here at the Jersey Shore. It is windy too! We've gotten several inches of snow and it is supposed to continue throughout the day. The prediction for this area is 24-30 inches. Ugh. I was in bed early so I'm up stupid early. Whatever. Obviously I'm not going to work today so it doesn't matter. We will likely be off tomorrow too. A coworker sent me a screenshot of a FB group that talks about school closures. It said 99% off tomorrow and 80% chance of being off on Wednesday. Ugh. More days added on to the end of the year. No big plans for the day. I'll spot clean the carpet. I'll make something sweet to bring into work whenever we get back in there. I'll clear off the car if I can get to it. I'm really hoping my coworker goes out to shovel with his son. I'll get him to come deal with my car. I don't want the other coworker who did it the last time to do it since this is called "heart attack snow". He's over 70 years old. What's everyone else up to today?

No snow here. Very cold this morning but we are supposed to warm up. They build snow days into our calendar and we start school early. Then if we do not use them we sometimes get out of school early.

Oh lord, over seventy? No wonder you don’t want that. Man, I hope for your sake they don’t call off school into Wednesday. I’m curious. Here, our school year is the end of August through early May. Would you prefer that schedule? You’d get all of June in the pool.

It's a shame that it adds days to the end of the year, but sometimes that's just the way it is. Hopefully you're able to enjoy the day off. Today is another work from home day. Gonna enjoy the evening with the family.

One of my blogging days and that takes up my afternoon. Keeping warm by layering and nothing else exciting goinf on, At least it is 53 degrees and going up on Wednesday.

They said on the news that there are a lot of power outages from this storm. I do hope you have power (and HEAT!).

Good morning. It is 21F in my part of Missouri this morning heading to a low of 19F according to the forecast. At least it isn't snowing here. We do have high winds tonight, though. I can hear it playing with the trashcans out by the curb. I don't have any plans for today. I've already asked Pretty to bring any dishes she has in her bedroom out and washed those. I hope things get better for you there soon.
