Winter Wonderland Outside...Warm and Toasty Inside

Happy Monday Everyone from my snowy little corner of the myLot world.
Yesterday and today it's been snowing with blizzard conditions, gusting winds and power outages reported.
I can honestly say thank goodness we didn't get hit as bad as some of the surrounding areas. The HOA snow removal company was here multiple times overnight to clear the roads and now this morning they did a pretty good job of getting the sidewalks and driveways cleared.
Outside is a mess but it's toasty and warm inside.
My daughter came home early from her weekend away (to avoid the storm) so she's not working today.
Looks like a perfect day for us to watch a good movie and maybe even take a nap.

I hope y'all have a relaxing and peaceful day indoors! My day is going well, everyone's starting to feel better from a nasty cold we had.

I’m so glad she came home to be sure she missed the worst of it. I was concerned about that.
It’s really pretty outside today, but it is pretty chilly. We’ll get to 70 tomorrow, but the heat is on here right now. I took a nice, long walk with Sadie too. My dad had been at a conference for a bit and I hadn’t seen him before that, so I dropped by, but he and Diana weren’t home.

We've only just reached 32F this morning (up from 17F when I took my morning meds at 5 am) with a strong wind blowing. I haven't stepped outside today so can't tell you whether the wind goes right through your clothes. Our high is supposed to reach 36F this afternoon and I don't plan on going outside. Tomorrow we're supposed to see 60F for a high temp. 
We do need to go shopping but tomorrow is soon enough as far as I'm concerned.
I'm glad your daughter made it home safely despite the blizzard and am happy you're warm and comfortable.

Trying to keep warm since our temps dropped again, Monday is blogging day so that took up my afternoon, I see the light is staying longer outside now,

It's going well, and although we have no snow, it is cold outside and breezy. I wore a long coat, as I feared my legs would get cold.

I am sorry it's so cold and snowy, but the chance to spend a day with your daughter, watch movies and take a nap, sounds simply wonderful to me.
We only got a little snow here in Illinois this time. But it has been very cold and terribly windy.
