Here’s to My myLot Crazy Sistas!

One of the stops I just had to make along the Gulf Coast was Lulu’s Fun Food and Music in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Lulu’s was founded by Lucy Buffett, the sister of Jimmy Buffett. Of course, part of the reason I went is my love for Jimmy Buffett. I’ll give her a lot of credit, too: there aren’t any “Hey, I’m Jimmy Buffett’s sister” things around. The only nod to that is her slogan: “Crazy Sista. You either have one, know one, or ARE one.” Another saying she has on t-shirts and “personified” in plush toys is “Happy as a seagull with a French fry.” You can see the t-shirt. There were also plush toys ranging from small to child’s car seat size. The Gulf Shores location (one of three: the the other two are in Destin and Myrtle Beach) has a marina next to it. It’s very spacious, with a playground and a store in addition to a restaurant. It was a nice stop, a pleasant walk around the grounds and enjoying the marina. I’d already had lunch, so I didn’t get to try the food. So here’s to all my myLot “crazy sistas” out there. If you think you don’t “know” one, that’d be me..and my brother will vouch for that!
