Into the Woods

There are many different woods to explore in the suburbs of Riga, Latvia. Most of them take you in a green and magical world where it seems you are miles from civilization. You can find large moss-covered rocks, like the one I am sitting on, to take a rest. Most of them have some small streams for the wildlife, and you can hear birds chirp in the trees. And believe it or not, that is another dress I still have today. The shoes are long gone.

@AmbiePam Thank you; those were my better days. The memories are great; I'm just wondering how long it will take me to complete going through my stuff and how many more years I'll be within four walls. Ain't that a kick in the head?

I enjoy walking the trails near my house cause its surrounded by really tall trees and have multiple water streams running through it

That's surely a beautiful part of woods. Reminds me of my days in the Terai forests. I accompanied my mother picking mushroom.

I sure miss my travels into the woods when I would travel with my relatives to visit my late grandparents farm in the interior of Panama.

That's a great picture , how long ago was it taken,
Our town is surrounded by woods like that.
We used to do a lot of camping in the woods.
