Into the Woods

There are many different woods to explore in the suburbs of Riga, Latvia. Most of them take you in a green and magical world where it seems you are miles from civilization. You can find large moss-covered rocks, like the one I am sitting on, to take a rest. Most of them have some small streams for the wildlife, and you can hear birds chirp in the trees. And believe it or not, that is another dress I still have today. The shoes are long gone.

@RasmaSandra - We are very lucky, the wood is behind our building, we can walk to the wood through the path that starts 4 minutes walk from home.

@RasmaSandra Yes, I have been to Schwarzwald (Black Forest). It’s a beautiful and peaceful forest. I liked walking there. Sadly, it is far from where I live. Anyway, we have a lot of forests here.

That's a great picture , how long ago was it taken,
Our town is surrounded by woods like that.
