Beau Teak's Doc schedules surgeries for Tuesdays and Thursdays. So..... today I brought Beau to the clinic to get fluid extracted from his chest. He sounded so congested last night. Last year I happened on a local lady who is fighting more than one cancer. She is sweet natured. She adopted an adorable Calico kitty. She brought the little girl to Beau's Doc for her spay. Today the lady was at the clinic with her kitty, getting the final okay that kitty could start bouncing around again. The lady had her rollator with her. I was curious so I asked her about it. She showed me the gizmo then said she had a lighter version that she was selling. Her kitty done, bill paid, she left. I continued to wait for Beau to be delivered back to me. Next thing I knew my friend had returned and returned with the lighter rollator. She and I tried it outside on the little sidewalk and then she smiled at me and said she was gifting me the rollator! Its seat is like a handle. You grab the seat and the gizmo folds. It just barely squeezed into my little car's trunk but it did Maybe next week the weather won't be so rainy and I will be able to try it out on a partially paved trail. I plan to take my walking buddy and give it a go then if the weather cooperates.
