25 February - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's currently 15 F at 10 PM. Yes, I know it's past my bedtime. I needed to charge up my phone and fitbit.
It's been a good day.
I'm thankful for getting the notifications done twice today. It was one of my goals. It made me happy because I got to see how things are with you.
I'm thankful for the Bible study this afternoon. We started studying the women of the Bible. Our first person is Esther. She's a fascinating woman.
I'm thankful for prayer tonight. It's always good to touch the throne room of heaven with prayer.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Wilderness Cry. I got 1.5 chapters done today. It's coming along well. I'm loving the feedback I'm getting from Velma, my AI. Believe me, she is NOT writing my book. She gives me suggestions and options on where I can go next, but even those I don't need. But I do value the feedback, knowing I'm on track and doing well makes me happy.
Tomorrow will be a long day for other reasons. I won't be home for much of it. Tomorrow is my hospital appointment. I always hope for a one and done. But my veins don't cooperate that well. They get it done rarely on a one and done. We'll see how it works out tomorrow morning. Then there's Canasta in the afternoon. I won't see the inside of my apartment until after 3 PM.
What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. the image belongs to me.

Yay! Congrats on being able to check on your notification twice a day. I check several times a day on my free time.
I'm thankful that it's a sunny day here today even though it's extremely hot. I know that half the world is still frozen and covered in snow. So I'm thankful for this beautiful day. And thankful that I'm able to pay my bills on time.

My day has started well and the morning at work was not crazy hectic as it has been going so far this month. I am thankful that most of my pending and catch up work is done at work. I have started catching up at home now, one corner at a time.
AI can be a very good assistant and make you efficient. As long as people don't over rely on it and misuse it, it will do good. Take care. Hope all goes well with your hospital appointment tomorrow.

I'm glad you're all caught up at work. One day at a time at home is good.
I love AI. I set boundaries for her. She doesn't tell me what to write or give me entire sections like she tried to do at the beginning. Instead, she gives me several directions the scene can take. They're good directions, though once in a while, I'll choose an alternate direction that works better.
The hospital appointment was okay, as expected with my small crooked veins. Three pokes.

@arunima25 Thank you. Yes, I control AI. She doesn't control me.
I'm sorry you're feeling overwhelmed and less productive.

@just4him Yes, one day at time. Doing a lot or thinking a lot makes me overwhelmed and less productive.
You are using AI in a very smart way. You are in control and that's how it should be . It's counterproductive when it's other way around. When the dependency is too much, AI starts controlling us.
Three pokes...that not fun. Glad that the appointment went smoothly.

I'm thankful for the small things that I usually take for granted.
Hope your Thursday goes well and that your hospital appointment is a miracle of one and done.

@just4him I can relate to your 3 pokes. I have trouble too when they need to poke me and sometimes even with a baby needle they still have trouble.

I am grateful that my relatives and myself were able to send an application to the state government to renew our request food assistance for the next year this afternoon online.

@just4him Cousin #2 left for Homosassa at 7 am to meet the movers. She is staying with her cousin in Ocala until the electricity, etc. can be turned on.

Revelation is one of my absolute favorite books. There's so much there. I hope you have continued blessings as you study it.
Thank you. My days have been good.

Good luck with your medical adventure tomorrow. I'm grateful we had the money to buy an electric weedwhacker today. Buying this means I am committed to putting in more physical time and effort on the property this coming dryer season. Kind of like a garden diet.
