Another earthquake a strong one, hit us last night, March 2 at around 6pm. It was quick. No serious destruction in any infrastructure in the city so it's a relief.
Woke up this morning with a slight headache and the thought of the earthquake reminded me of this song that I heard when I was a little girl. Though I wasn't born yet when this song was released in 1971, I kept hearing it in the early 80s.
I'm sure most of you here remember the song, "I Feel the Earth Move" by Carole King.

I'm glad you're okay. Earthquakes happen which isn't so bad I guess.

@toniganzon Yeah, that's always good. I've never lived in an area known for them, but I've heard they can be more frequent in some places and most go barely unnnoticed.

@kaylachan Earthquake doesn't really happen here quite often. Before the strong one last year, the last one I experienced that came with a tsunami warning was when my son was in grade school and he's 21 years old now.

It wasn't. Fortunately, our city hasn't really suffered a destructive one from the time I was born.

It was a quick one. No serious damed at all. Last quarter of last year there were a lot and fortunately our city didn't suffer from any serous damage at all.

When I was a kid, experiencing it for the first time, I found it fun. Because it was a slight shake. The strongest one I experienced was last quarter of last yea, strong and lasted for quite awhile and there was an earthquake almost everyday for more than a week.

My menstrual period is coning and I guess the headache is from that. Not too serious though.

Wow, that must be so scary to deal with earthquakes, even small ones. Yes, I loved Carol King back in the day, and she still sounds good.

The strongest one was November of last year I think. And it lasted for a few minutes. That scared me. We even experienced a sudden blackout. And for days some areas didn't even have electricity.
