Someone nearby owns about 15-20 turkeys. Every few days they come wandering through the complex. One huge one and the rest are youths. Today is one of the first days I've seen them. Usually they are gone before I can get this old bod up and looking out the right window. It has become quite a mob from the first half dozen we used to see.
I'm going to try to download a picture we took of them.

I'd complain if somebody's turkeys wandered into my yard... They make a mess and somebody needs to clean up behind them. (If the city won't let stray dogs and cats roam around, they sure wouldn't let turkeys wander around loose!)

Calm down. If they made a mess or been a problem we would have complained. They have not.

@celticeagle You rarely go outside so wouldn't see the mess if they made one.

Last night, our dinner was turkey from a friend who had a birthday. He has lots of turkey in his farm.

They are good to eat. I'm rather surprised hasn't taken one or two out of this herd for just purpose.

It's one of Mother Nature's gifts I think.

Oh, that's so many. I once had my neighbor who is my cousin living near of our house in my hometown. She has about 10 turkeys and you know what happened? They ate my plants so we have to construct a fence around our yard so that they can not enter our premises. Aside from that these turkeys are very noisy. I didn't complain because their owner is my cousin. I don't want to have any disagreement with her.

That is so cool. I've only seen turkeys around here a few times.
