Someone nearby owns about 15-20 turkeys. Every few days they come wandering through the complex. One huge one and the rest are youths. Today is one of the first days I've seen them. Usually they are gone before I can get this old bod up and looking out the right window. It has become quite a mob from the first half dozen we used to see. I'm going to try to download a picture we took of them.

Last night, our dinner was turkey from a friend who had a birthday. He has lots of turkey in his farm.

I'd complain if somebody's turkeys wandered into my yard... They make a mess and somebody needs to clean up behind them. (If the city won't let stray dogs and cats roam around, they sure wouldn't let turkeys wander around loose!)

I can't get over how well they blend in with their surroundings.

Lovely turkeys. I am surprised the owners allow those valuable birds to roam freely. I kind of miss having turkeys. The gal turks were friendly and sweet.
