I suspect this will be the first of many, as gas prices are predicted to go up to about 3.50 per gallon or more.Might as well get some while it is still relatively cheap. I just bought another gas can. Never can tell what is going to happen with this situation. Are you worried about gas prices? I drive quite a bit so much be prepared.

I guess there will be plenty of time to worry about that

Impossible! We were just told last week that gas is under $2.40 a gallon.
I just bought a hybrid, so I’m not as worried about.

I don't have a car anymore; but I am concerned about gas prices for others.

If they get up to 3.50 I am not going to be a happy camper.

I was trying to use Gas Buddy to locate the lowest gas prices near me, or places I would be close to on our endless treatment rounds, etc. But since the war activity started, it's not updating here anymore. We had finally gotten below $3 a gallon. Yesterday when I ran my errand, the two gas stations I passed were up past $3.55. A back supply of gas is not a bad idea. hopefully you have a good place to put the gas you store. If our current situation with the war activities stays the same, food will continue to rise sharply as well. I am worried about all prices, as during wars everything goes up.

Yeah, it's a disaster, but probably not as bad as it could be. It was 2.99 at my local station. It's 2.89 at the other one, but they usually change prices on Thursday

@MarieCoyle I passed a station on the way to Yoga and on the way back it was 30 cents more.

There are days here when they change the prices several times a DAY. It's insane. A good friend who lives about 50 miles south of me, had an appointment yesterday. She drove by a gas station nearby and told herself, maybe I should fill up, I will do that when I get done. One hour later, the gas there had gone up 30 cents more per gallon! It's like the wild, wild west. Insane.

Not worried about the cost per litre at all

It is only good to be prepared. Who wants to pay more for it then they have to.

Remember though, petrol is not as efficient if it stays in the can too long

Yes it is expected with what's going on at the moment. We are concerned about it. We have a gas depot.

Our gas prices spike every weekend, but last Sunday they rose even higher and remain there.
Sadly it doesn't make sense as the gas companies do have reserves that they bought at the low price but they do not feel that they can pass that on to the consumer.

Some companies just want to take advantage.

I know about gas. I used to use it with my riding mower. I am not going to store it for months..

Even in Australia, we are expecting stepp hikes in fuel prices although the authorities say we have plenty in reserve and there's no need to panic-buy. We filled up on Sunday but yesterday there were long queues at petrol stations.
