My little tomato plant is putting a lot of effort into producing these tiny tomatoes. My standard lunch at the moment is lettuce, 5-6 tiny tomatoes, cheese, a handful of sultanas, cucumber and a touch of Italian dressing. Very ordinary I know but it’s cheap and easy.
My strawberry plant has succumbed to chilli thrip and I pulled it out this morning; my butternut pumpkins still don’t have any fruit on them so I’m thankful for my tomato plant which continues to produce.

That actually sounds like a nice and healthy lunch to me. Sometimes the simplest meals are the best. It’s good that your tomato plant is still producing even if the others aren’t doing so well. Fresh tomatoes from your own plant must taste great! Literally from your garden to table.

I remember my days in Latvia after our harvest our cat Sid would lie in the box with the tomatoes probably guarding them

I absolutely love homegrown, fresh tomatoes. But it's too early still to plant them here, so I have to wait! Enjoy, Judy.

At least one is working out I am giving up on tomatoes for this year. All I got for my troubles last year was 4 tiny tomatoes. I am gonna try peppers this year.

It’s nice to have fresh tomatoes just outside of your back door! I can’t take tomatoes that small, though.

What a nice and healthy lunch! There’s nothing better than growing our own vegetables and herbs. I can’t wait to return to my gardening.
So sorry about your strawberry plant. I’m going to try strawberries for the second time. The birds got into my first attempt years ago.

We planted some Liriope too late last season so it didn't survive the Winter. Will have to plant again this Spring
