3/4/26 - Meals

15 days until spring.
Went out yesterday and got a hair cut. Now it won't take forever to wash and rinse.
Cousin #2 called to tell me she found her coffee. She was so excited. She has been doing some exploring and has found an Aldi, a good Chinese restaurant, a Kohl's, etc. She has been calling me at least twice a day to tell me what's going on. She's so happy.
Cousin #2's cousin texted that she doesn't want visitors, which means she's not feeling well. We are both getting very concerned about her.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Beef Stroganoff, noodles, mixed veggies, cauliflower...the beef wasn't as bad as usual.
Dessert/Snack - Nature's Bakery Brownie, low salt nuts
Dinner - Turkey/vegan cheese sandwich, tortilla chips, dark sweet cherries

I do hope #Cousin 2,s Cousin is feeling better soon.
I'm so glad I don't need a haircut any more. Or have any hair to wash
I do hope you find it easier to wash and rinse your hair now that you have had it cut

Sounds like Cousin #2 is settling into the new place. It's always fun when you can go out and explore.
Not wanting visitors does sound like the other cousin isn't doing very well.
Glad you were able to get your hair cut. I need one but keep putting it off.
Last night was our pasta night.

It’s nice that cousin number two regularly keeps in touch with you.
I just did my hair recently. Cost me 260 bucks. I usually leave a five dollar tip but this time I left nothing. I’m not even sure if I’m supposed to leave a tip because technically the guy that does my hair actually owns the salon. I always did though except this one time.

Getting a haircut can be nice....usually feels a lot better. I am trying to grow mine back out.

Yay! A new haircut. I always love having a new haircut for that fresh new look. I change my hairstyle quite so often and I don't use the same hairstyle over and over again. So each time I visit a salon, it would be for a different look.

The usual for lunch. I ate most of the chicken and was full, so I brought the rice and taco fixings home for dinner. Grapes! Yogurt! Apples!!

Meals on Wheels sounds good.
I'm glad Cousin #2 found her coffee and a few places she'll soon use a lot.
Yesterday was an egg and cheese omelet for breakfast and supper, and a lettuce salad for lunch.

It sounds like it was a great day for you, nice new spring do and hearing all of the exciting news from your cousin as she learns the lay of the land where she's at now.
My hair is at the stage where I feel like it needs a trim, but I will let it go a bit longer before a trip to the salon.
