Ellen brought me some eggs

Ellen has chickens and she brought me some eggs. I will not say "no" to farm fresh eggs even though I still had quite a few on hand.
So after work last night I hard boiled a lot of eggs, and I also made protein pancakes with extra eggs.
It felt like those two things were all I got done last night after work.
It is time for me to pack a lunch for work today and get busy with my morning.
This is the last day of work this week as Friday the teachers have the day to work on grades.
Tomorrow for me involves taking Bruno to visit the vet, then having coffee with Jane in Hillsboro. She has been really sick since her trip to Oregon. Old age catches up to us all.
So this is a "good morning" post from me. I hope your day is sunny and bright, ours is not. We have had dense fog all week.

I'm sorry to hear about Jane. I hope she feels better soon.
All that talk of eggs makes me want egg salad or deviled eggs.
Enjoy your day off.

Eggs keep longer than you'd imagine sometimes. We used to take a heap on holidays with us when we were kids and they'd last just about the whole 4-5 weeks. The last of them, the yolks would break, so then we'd have scrambled eggs.

Hi heather
Absolutely I would not say no to free eggs either and it was good of Ellen to bring you some
Protein pancakes with extra eggs are the way to go.
A richer more full bodies pancake.
Yum
Fresh farm eggs are so much better than the factory farmed eggs the stores push out at us.
Fresh farm eggs are more tasty because the Hens have a better diet and get more exercise.

I hope you enjoy your day. We've had rain all week. (It only amounted to between half and three quarters of an inch so far but it's still raining outside and we had two heavy storms last night.)

We've had rain every day this week so far. Doesn't look like we'll see the sun until maybe the weekend.
Can't say no to free eggs!! Enjoy your trip to Oregon to see Jane. I'm sure she'll be happy to see you.

Fresh farm eggs …..you absolutely have to have them ! It’s good that you were able to use so many too.
Hope all goes well with a Bruno at the vets.

Have you ever pickled your eggs? We have put a couple in some pickle juice. Pretty good.
