If you could live in another country for one year, where would it be? If I could live in another country for a year, I’d choose Japan. I’d love to experience the culture, food, and everyday life there. I love Japanese food, especially ramen. My only problem there that i often see in post about japan, is the earthquakes and tsunamis. You never know, how strong they get, it can happen anytime. Where would you go and why?

Just Canada. That might seem like a tame choice, but the weather isn’t as hot as Australia (I loved visiting Australia, but it was too hot), and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I hear their healthcare is affordable even if you aren’t a citizen and don’t qualify for universal healthcare.

With all its problems, I would never live anywhere else except in the United States.

That’s a good choice! I’ve heard the milk and dairy there are really fresh, so that’s definitely a nice bonus on top of the beautiful places.

I would love to travel to the countryside section of Panama since my deceased ancestors lived there and the weather was nice throughout the year,

That sounds really special. Visiting the countryside where your ancestors lived must feel like a meaningful connection to your roots, and having nice weather all year is definitely a bonus.

I already did but not one year. Only 8 months. I lived in Bangkok independently for 8 months with no maids to cook for me or do my laundry. That was the very first time my entire life that I have ever lived alone. I never had any real Thai friends there. The Thai friend I had here in mylot lived far away. She was in Chiang Mai and though she visited Bkk once, we never had the chance to meet. I became friends with some filipinos there and one of them already passed away. And the other who I'm still in contact with is my French friend. He's not in Bkk anymore, he moved to Kuala Lumpur.

If I get the chance, I’d choose Switzerland too—the nature there is just so beautiful, and it's pro-citizen, lots of benefits given

I would love to go back to Ireland and live there for a year. I love it there, the people and the landscapes. Hubby and I lived there for almost 3 years in the Republic of Ireland.

That sounds amazing! Living there for three years must have been such a great experience. I can see why you’d want to go back—the people and landscapes there are beautiful.
