That Didn't Work

My tarp stayed together but the canopy frame holding it up broke when the wind started blowing. So I will have to figure out a different way to set the tarp up later. We have already had one thunderstorm this morning. Because of that I think I will stay home today. Unless the sun comes back out soon.
I can keep myself amused cleaning the spare room and playing on my phone. If the storms pass I will spend some time outside.

We had a few thunderstorms in the night. Today, it's just wet and drizzly. And yes, it was very windy in the night. Not fun weather at all, but hey, it's not ice so I am glad of that.

At 10 am it is almost dark here. We're at 39F and they've extended the flood warning for my area until 7 pm tonight. We have a strong breeze blowing at 16 mph. The current thunderstorm just passed but the clouds still look full... Local radar is showing more clouds piling up behind the storm that is moving out.

That wind has blown the covers off of our patio furniture. We’ve tried elastic covers, tying them down, and even putting heavy rocks around the base of each cover. The wind usually wins unless it’s a mild breeze.
I’m going to force myself to get outside for my walk. I’ve been very lazy this morning.
