Is there any specific day when you visit a temple/church?
Yes, I have. I go to a temple daily on every Tuesday. We have a God, Hanuman, who is worshipped on Tuesday. There are lots of deities of Lord Hanuman here in India. There are people who fast on Tuesday.

@DaddyEvil that's fine. In my childhood we were also told the same and our parents never compelled us to visit a temple and we never visited any. But from last few years I have become spiritual, you can say it because my wife is spiritual.
My kids don't like to go to temple.

@sjvg1976 When I was a kid, dad said it was our choice whether we went to church or not. Sometimes we'd go with mom when she asked. After dad passes away, mom said we HAD to go no matter what if we wanted to keep living with her. I told her she'd regret forcing us to do something we didn't want to do but she said she'd deal with it when it happened.
Once I moved out of her house, I haven't been to a church and don't intend to go to one. I let Pretty decide for herself if she wanted to go when other kids invited her to church. Sometimes she went and sometimes we had other plans.
We just aren't interested in going.
