The last cylinder of cooking gas I bought for my family kitchen was on November 17, 2026. We use it rather sparingly. And so it has lasted four months. It will be empty any of these days. Therefore, I must be ready with the next supply before the cylinder runs out.
I decided to buy a second cylinder. Meanwhile the war in the Persian Gulf started. The supply line got bombed but we in India are facing.the jitters The dealers are expressing their inability to get supplies.
Perhaps we'll have to fall back to the old fashioned " chulha", cooking our food on firewood.
I asked the supplier when I can hope to get the next supply of gas. He said , two weeks or so. Truly we can't expect to have normal supply of gas cylinder for the next two weeks.
Hopefully, the war will end by that time.

It would be difficult to not be able to use the stove. I do have other appliances I can use,the crockpot,an electric skillet (older than dirt but it works great!) and a waffle maker. I guess we would survive without a stove for a short time, but it certainly wouldn’t be very convenient.
I don’t think the war will be over very soon. I wish it would but it doesn’t seem likely.

" chulha" wouldn't be so bad would it?
But so do hope that you can get your gas ok
I have a bad feeling about the price of gas canisters going through the roof
I hope the war ends soon too.
