Time To Light Up The Barbecue Grill

Happy Tuesday Everyone! what a gorgeous day. I'm so happy for this reprieve in the weather even if it's only for a few days. The winter really left me feeling depressed and I didn't even realize it until yesterday and today when the temperatures turned springlike and the sun is shining.
I was able to get out of the house and run some errands. Lots of people out and about so I guess everyone had the same idea....get out of the house 
Even the dog is happy to be sitting outside on the deck. I swear she's smiling 
Since the weather is so nice I'm going to fire up the grill and bbq some chicken. We'll have it with a Caesar Salad for dinner.
Can you tell I'm ready to kick this winter to the curb?

Guess your younger son is really enjoying this springlike weather too. So many of my neighbors are out waling their dogs or babies and everyone is in short sleeves and some even are wearing shorts. It's 80 here this afternoon.
My dog loves to be outside and can enjoy being on the deck by herself. We have a gate at the top of the stairs so she can't get into trouble.

We used to put up a gate, too, when we had a dog. It wouldn’t have worked for Doodles the cat

I know I've been saying this forever but I need one of those happy lamps.
Our nice weather will be short lived. Everything will go back to cooler temperatures by the weekend so it's too early to put away the winter clothes. But, it certainly was nice today to be able to wear short sleeves. Some people were even out in shorts,

@Marilynda1225 Ask one of your kids for one for Mother's Day, you'll love it.
I just posted a recent picture of Harper and Willow.
You can really tell them apart easily now.
Willow, on the right of the photo, is such a sweet and pleasant child.
Her teachers will love her sunny and patient disposition.

Glad to hear you are having such nice weather. Dinner sounds nice. Bbq'd chicken is always a good choice.

Today has been such an uplifting day for me. I guess I just do better with sunshine and warmer temperatures. Even the fact that it doesn't get dark now until after 7pm is a blessing.

I can tell you really are ready to move on from winter
BBQ in March, I really wish we could do that here.
Maybe on May, or June lol
