Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 54 degrees F and clear here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 57. I'll take it! I was up at 4:30am today. Yikes. At 5am I made a cup of coffee. As I drank it I realized it probably wasn't a good idea to be drinking coffee when I'm taking a medication 4 times a day that produces a paste that protects the ulcers. So I guess it will be herbal tea going forward. No big plans for the day other than resting. I do have an acupuncture appointment. My sister asked me how I felt after the last one. I didn't have a good answer. I didn't feel like suddenly my body was all aligned or relaxed or rejuvenated. That being said it also didn't hurt physically so I figure it can't hurt to try it again. Insurance pays for it. My ex continues to be supportive and helpful which I certainly appreciate. Bizarrely my mother is trying to be helpful too. I have to pay my portion of the medical benefits while I'm out. She said she would cover it. She also said she would pay next month's rent despite the fact that I told her it wasn't necessary. But hey if she wants to cover some of my bills who am I to say no? What's everyone else up to today?
