I used to do my own taxes. Then I started having H&R Block. Cost me about $100 and I got my refund the next day.

Yes
We pay our income tax as we go.
Taken from our salaries every month
We all get a tax code
So we know how much we earn before we pay tax
Then we pay the going % tax rate on how much we earn above our allowance

I used to take my taxes in to H&R Block and let Dianne do them there. Since I don't work anymore, Pretty has started doing our taxes online. I don't know which program she uses.
Good luck with your taxes!

Thankfully we don't have to taxes anymore. Such a blessing although it was never a burden on me.

Hope it goes well for you. I would never attempt to do my own taxes either. Up until now I was filing a joint income tax with my husband. But now it looks like I have to file separately because he has not contacted me about doing them together. I’m probably gonna go to the same place that we did it. I wish I didn’t have to file but I do because while I have no employment income, as I don’t work, I have bank interest that needs to be reported.
