Appetizer, Entree, Dessert

I could live on appetizers. Entrees are tasty too, for sure, but what people come up for appetizers are by far my favorite. And when it comes to me and desserts, I’ll just skip that. Of which of the three do you gravitate?

Appetizers are usually good enough for a meal, in my mind. Although, I do like desserts.

And you can try several appetizers before you get full because of their size.

@ambiep Today we had lunch in a Portuguese restaurant and just had starters - fantastic food. Starters are enough for me and desserts are rarely nice so I skip them.

In most cases I will take the appetizer simply because having both an appetizer and entree is too much food for me. An appetizer can be filling enough.

Desserts are my bag. Not a big appetizer person..entrees are good.

Although I love desserts, I'm less and less enthused about the ones on menus. Starters would suit be. And here's another difference between our countries: if there are three courses it's entree (sometimes starters), mains, dessert.

Me too! When I was younger and we'd go somewhere like Applebee's or Chilis I would always get the appetzer sampler platter.
