Gas prices have stabilized here. At least for now.

As we all know, there is a war going on, started by the US, in the Middle East. A major crude oil shipping channel near Iran is claimed by some to be at least partially blocked, though the American President says it is not. In any case, gas at my discount station is up to $5.20/gallon, up about 20 per cent from where it was a couple of months ago. MyLotters have reported that gas prices are actually DOWN in Georgia and Florida, suggesting that the war is affecting different parts of the US differently.. To my relief, gas prices have not increased here in the past two days. My trip to Brentwood to practice music only cost me about three dollars more than it would have a couple of weeks ago. Have gas prices stabilized or dropped where you live? I fear they will continue to go higher overall.

@Ineeddentures Do you know? I try to follow him closely and even I am confused. Outsiders are usually the first to know in situations like this. That is not a diss, just how Trump rolls.

@crossbones27 Well he keeps saying that Iran have been beaten Bit they are still flattening places in Israel with missiles and also attacking other Arab countries. Iran is not beaten and it actually looks like they are more effective than America and Israel Petrol price here today £1.49/L The day before the war started £1.29/L Iran said they would reak financial havoc They are doing so

@TheHorse If the Big Orange starts to bomb the largest export hub for oil of Iran, we can see the price of gas double soon.

Gas prices in India has increased by Rs.60. There's also a crisis of cooking gas giving black marketers a chance to make easy money.

@TheHorse Indian oil supplies LPG to us so the distributors have no right to black market them. The government has started taking action.

We are paying much more at the pumps also, but the price has levelled off for the past couple of days-much higher than it should be, and there will be more hikes, but for a couple of days they took a break from hiking it. They are warning of extra surcharges being passed on by the airlines for flights as a result of the increase. Its a shame that we cannot all just get along in this world, it isn't like there is anywhere else to live.
