A Big Saturday Hello / myLot

Happy Saturday Everyone! it's sunny but quite windy here with temperatures in the 40s. Morning is just about over and I'm just waiting for my daughter to finish getting ready so we can go out and pick up our Sams Club order. Maybe stop at Wendys for lunch? I haven't had their chili in awhile and it sounds pretty good on this cold, windy day. Later this afternoon she'll be heading to her friends for a birthday party. Since all her friends live about 2 hrs away that means she'll be staying over so I'll have the night by myself. Just me and the pup

I've been wanting to start the latest season of The Lincoln Lawyer ( season 4) but since it's so good I tend to binge watch. My daughter has no interest in it so it's a show I watch by myself. I doubt I can binge the whole season (10 episodes) before she gets home tomorrow but at least I can get a good start on the series. Dinner will be simple and probably something I can whip up without much trouble. That's what my Saturday is looking like. Any fun plans for you this weekend?

I know that you love your daughter dearly, but I think that you both enjoy your little bits of time away too. I'm sure that Mush will love being the centre of attention. It was a busy week this past week at work, so my hubs and I will just relax this afternoon and evening. I did not sleep well as the winds woke me a couple of times.

I tried the store Wendy brand of chili and it didn't taste like the restaurant. Hmm. Just normal fun this weekend around here.

Hope you and the pup enjoyed Lincoln Lawyer. We binge watched it, but it took us about three days. It was so good! My entire weekend was one huge ball of fun.

We're going up to the open-air theatre again tonight and staying over with the BIL. Moulin Rouge is on so I hope we enjoy it.

It's sunny and 73F in my part of Missouri this afternoon. We'll get the "fun" weather tomorrow. I stepped outside to check the mail and to admire how pretty the greening yard looks. (The clover is sprouting nicely.

) I pulled a bag of frozen smoked turkey down to thaw and will make a boxed dinner with it later tonight. (Pasta with bacon and the turkey.) Hopefully, you'll get a warm day or two before the nasty weather hits you again. Screenshot is mine.
